Digital Days - Infrabel
During the Digital Days, more than 1,000 employees were able to discover the digitisation of the railways. At the beginning of 2014, Infrabel started digitising the entire Belgian railway network thanks to the Smart Railway project. They made our rail infrastructure (points, signals and level crossings) smarter by installing sensors everywhere. In addition, special inspection trains are used that are equipped with sensors and measuring equipment to identify the maintenance needs.
Smart Railway is one of the largest digitisation projects in Belgium. Infrabel has already received several international awards for this and is one of the European leaders in this field.
During the Digital Days, Infrabel employees were also introduced to other digital applications such as the 'warehouse of the future', where warehousemen receive their orders using virtual reality glasses. In addition to 22 exhibition stands, there were also live demonstrations on the use of drones and predictive maintenance based on artificial intelligence.
Play AV was called for the audiovisual support inside the tent and of the exhibition stands with audio, video (LED and displays) & rigging.
