EAHM congress Ghent 2019 - Bevas Events
Every year the congress of the European Association of Hospital Managers takes place. This year, for the 28th edition, Belgium had the honour of hosting the conference. The EAHM is mainly concerned with the maintenance and renewal of hospitals. Today, the organisation consists of no less than 16,000 different members, representing not only public hospitals but also private hospitals in the European Union on an international level.
The congress, with more than 500 participants from all over the world, took place in Meetdistrict Ghent and lasted no less than four days (11 - 14 September 2019). The four days had a well-filled programme: an opening ceremony, more than 60 speakers, a visit to 6 hospitals, instructive workshops, networking moments and an award ceremony (most innovative concept that a hospital has launched). In the end, the congress ended with a closing ceremony.

- Health management, governance & ethics
- Innovation & technology
- Healing architecture
