The museum visitor can enjoy some permanent collections (+2, +4, +5, +6, +7, +8) supplemented by a number of temporary exhibitions. On every floor you will be waiting for a new story about Antwerp, the river, the harbor and the world.
The collection of 500,000 museum pieces gives you a refreshing view of the city and its centuries-long contacts with the world. And all the way up, on the 10th floor you can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of the city, the harbor and the river.
Given that audiovisual experience, interaction and the digital aspect has become enormously important in contemporary museum experience, there has been ample investment in audio, video, projection and digital signage across the various floors.
