Dynamika invests in forward-looking sports experience
Upon arrival at Dynamika, you immediately feel the energy of a thriving sports club. With more than 850 members, Dynamika is the reference for gymnastics and dance sports in Kalmthout and beyond. What makes this association unique is not only their impressive membership, but also the facilities they offer: Dynamika is the only gymnastics club in Belgium where athletes can train and stay overnight in the same building.
Different zones
At Dynamika, experience is key, so extensive audio integration was a logical step in the new sports complex. Several zones within the building were equipped with a high-quality audio platform.
The Large Gymnastics Hall, the heart of Dynamika, is a room comparable in size to the top sports hall in Ghent. This room was equipped with an audio system that adapts to the dynamics of the training sessions. The hall has two audio areas: one for the entire hall and one specifically for the gymnastics floor where music supports the exercises.
The Forum is one of the multipurpose rooms used for group classes, such as dance and yoga, as well as for theory classes or events such as quiz and movie nights. The flexible design of the room, which can be doubled in capacity after opening 2 walls, makes it suitable for numerous activities.
In addition to local control from each e room separately, the entire audio system can be controlled from the cafeteria. Whether it is music in different rooms or announcing messages, the flexibility of this system ensures efficient communication. The public address system extends to the hallways, the multipurpose dance halls, the gymnasium and even the bistro. Bart De Cleyn, secretary of Dynamika, explains: “During our camps, it is incredibly convenient to be able to quickly distribute messages or start a specific tune via the public address system when, for example, everyone needs to gather in the cafeteria for lunch.”
Technical knowledge combined with flexibility
"Our first thought was to develop the audio integration ourselves ” explains Bart De Cleyn. "But it soon became clear that the complexity and cost of an in-house solution were not feasible. We needed an expert who could help us within our budget." Play AV offered not only the technical expertise, but also the flexibility to take Dynamika's financial capabilities into account.
User-friendly technology for everyone
A key requirement for Dynamika was that the system should be accessible to all users. For frequent users, such as trainers, there is the AUDAC Touch app, while external users simply use plug-in points or a tablet we provide. "Everyone can use it. An Audac function each night ensures that the system is reset to default settings, so even the less versed user can easily get started." said De Cleyn.
The collaboration with Play AV
The collaboration with Play AV went well but with challenges. "Our electrical partner had recommended Play AV, and they met the deadline and overcame the challenges. Before that, the central module was also replaced with a new variant after completion because the previous version could not meet all the requirements, but we still wanted to meet the deadline. We are very satisfied with the result and will certainly call on Play AV again for future projects." says Bart De Cleyn.
