Agristo chose new headquarters that exudes collaboration
Since 1986, Agristo has been bringing the authentic flavors of fries, croquettes and other potato products to the plate of anyone who chooses quality, taste and conviviality. The Belgian company specializes in the production of pre-fried and frozen fries. Talk about a delicious partnership. The company has had a new production site in Wielsbeke since 2017. In addition to their state of the art machinery, there is now also a new headquarters. This office exudes the importance of cooperation. To encourage that collaboration, they invested in the necessary hardware and software. This allows everyone, both physical and online, to work together in a flexible way.
The office is built from the philosophy of their own product, the potato. Thus, the office consists of an outer shell and a core. The closer to the core, the more communal the spaces are. Think of large meeting rooms, an auditorium, a communal bar, etc.
Digital interaction thanks to the Leyard LED wall
At Agristo, guests should immediately feel a wow feeling. One wants to ensure that a digital interaction occurs immediately, even before the friendly reception at the counter. They chose a 108-inch Leyard LED wall to accomplish this.
"At Agristo, we want to invest correctly. It had to be a sustainable solution that was worth its money.
With the underlying idea of digital interaction, our creative team also went to work.
For example, our team recently created a fun corporate video, which allows you to experience a digital contact moment from your arrival. This is continuously playing in our entrance hall. In terms of size it is also ideal for the reception area, from a distance you can perfectly follow things on the screen.
By choosing LED we experience the wow factor." ICT Infrastructure Manager Thijs Naessens tells us.
Welcome to "the potato"
At Agristo, large groups are welcomed in the auditorium, also known as the "fries. Thijs Naessens tells us the following:
"When a customer or new colleague arrives, we want to literally immerse them in the wonderful world of potatoes. We welcome them to our Atrium. During preliminary meetings of "the potato", Play AV sat directly at the design table with our architect. In order to ensure that the audiovisual plans were immediately integrated into the total concept.
Among other things, this space also serves to boost our ambassadorship."
Play AV likes to think with you from A to Z
A few years ago, the purchasing process at Agristo looked completely different. For example, ICT Infrastructure Manager Thijs Naessens told us that the purchase was done online, but there was always a lot involved afterwards. Because of their rapid growth curve, they were looking for new ways.
"We didn't want to start burdening our own technical profiles from the factory with our AV integrations in the office. On the one hand because this is not their specialization, on the other hand because it leaves their own work on the table.
In the past we already had some great collaborations with Play AV, for example, GoBright reservation systems were integrated in our Tilburg office. The choice of Play AV for this project was therefore obvious. Play AV takes the worry away, thinks with us from A to Z and offers us a total solution. All we as IT only have to do is coordinate.
With this new office, there were quite a few challenges, such as an auditorium where the adjacent rooms should not experience any noise pollution, a conference room with a lot of light that still needed a projection solution. Difficult challenges that we were able to meet thanks to their study service.
The thinking along, the expertise and their flexibility were an immense added value for Agristo." ICT Infrastructure Manager Thijs Naessens tells us.
Experience room
The Agristo experience room is a space for experimenting with the potato. This exclusive meeting room includes a high-end kitchen to present the final product. In this room, a 98-inch Samsung display was chosen. This is mainly used to support presentations.
What does the future hold?
During the start-up phase, Agristo opted for an audiovisual setup of 17 rooms. The rooms were furnished with interactive touchscreens and built-in videoconferencing systems. After testing this phase, it turned out that the rooms were optimally utilized. The goal of creating collaboration was thus amply achieved. So successful, in fact, that the other rooms were also equipped with audiovisual equipment.
