This is the oldest preserved castle in Antwerp, which was once part of a former ring fortress on the right bank of the Scheldt. Today Het Steen is the ideal starting point for your visit to Antwerp. 11 rooms with high-tech audiovisual solutions take you on a journey through history, introduce you to today's inhabitants and provide many tips and tricks for your visit to the city. 

Upon arrival in the center, visitors are immediately welcomed by the 3x3 Samsung video wall. This gigantic display provides a warm welcome and shows the main attractions. The smaller displays also give an overview of the latest exhibitions, events in the city and local art.

"In our previous visitor center we had a large canvas that was regularly replaced. In our current visitor center, we again opted for an eye-catcher but in a digital form.  We can now change images frequently. We also work with video, which gives a more dynamic effect. The wall welcomes our visitors as soon as they enter the Visitor Center. The visitors also keep looking at the content on the screen and regularly ask questions about it, so for us a good solution with desired effect."

Audiovisual transformation for the meeting rooms

The meeting rooms in Het Steen are not only for internal use but are also rented out to external companies, making a professional audiovisual set-up a must. "The screens in the conference rooms are used continuously, both for internal meetings and video calls. We also often work together with foreign partners, so the videoconferencing system is indispensable. The clickshare is also a very handy tool that is frequently used by all colleagues.
